The Muse: Ebony Raé 

Ebony is a woman of many talents. From teaching hundreds of students to having solo dance parties in her living room. From random walks in nature to hosting a community Spelling Bee, she is always authentically herself. Her motto, do what sets your soul on fire! And in this stage of her life, that is exactly what she is doing.  

With over 10 years of experience in education, community development and programming, Ebony has a passion for creating positive social impact and fostering inclusive and collaborative learning environments. She has designed and delivered engaging and effective training materials and presentations using various tools and platforms, such as Articulate Storyline, Figma, and G Suite. She has also built and maintained partnerships with diverse stakeholders, facilitated professional development and surveys, and conducted data analysis and trends for solutions-based implementation. Ebony is always upskilling and exploring new ways to reach the masses.

Ebony is currently a Leadership Coach at a nonprofit organization that equips underrepresented students with the skills, confidence, and network to succeed in their careers and she is an Education Specialist with a leading provider of high-quality afterschool and summer programs for children and families in New York City. She has recently been elected and sworn in as the 2nd Vice-President of a CBO that houses over 10,000 families.     

Ebony has always had a wide range of interests and was never afraid to express them. Life happens and that sometimes steer people in other directions. However, the key is to always follow that inner voice to follow your dreams. Ebony is doing just that.  

Ebony was never indoctrinated in believing that you could only have ONE career in this life. And so, she decided to take a leap of faith, truly believe in herself and go after what she wants.
